How to play media at 1080p on TV or other devices

Hello,

Situation:

• Media in the actual server is 1080p
• Media is in .mp4 format
• Media shows 1080p on info
• On the server player settings, i have it set to 1080p

But when i play it on the player (TV or web) on local lan (cabled, not WIFI), it only shows up to 720p

Please advise.
