Hi all - new here! I just have to do this..as much as I love Plex it is Per'plex'ing - there, done now! When it works it's great but there are just so many hiccups which seem inexplicable - they crop up with no changes to the hardware or basic infrastructure I have. In short - can you guys advise on my latest frustration. I have run Plex Media Server on both Windows and OS. It (currently) works great on OS but I'd really like to run it on Windows 10 (I won't bore you with the reasons) which is giving me problems. Firstly the server will rarely launch on Windows so therefore the Client can't connect and secondly I now can't create any Libraries as it won't save changes. The content for my libraries is located on a correctly formatted USB HDD as it always has been and has been fine in the past. Any advice would be much appreciated. I have to say that as much as Plex is great when it works - upon looking for advice there are endless threads with what seems to me to be really convoluted work-arounds and complicated 'solutions'. I thought things had moved on from when you basically had to be a tech geek to get these things working!
