I am a quite new, happy, but not yet completely satisfied plex user. I installed Plex on my quite powerful Server (i5 3570, 16gb Ram) running Ubuntu 16.04. The media is sitting in two SMB Shares of two different windows machines which sitting in the same network and are well connected with gigabit lan, which containing my media (one movies, the other one tv shows). These 2 shares are mounted as cifs (i read its the best way to do this) to my plex server. The plex user (on the Server) has read/write rights to these two shares. The media of both shares are scraped well and appearing in the webinterace (although its quite slow sometimes).
Now i got the following weird problem when I comes to playing the media: The movie share is working very well, wether its in the browser or played by an plex app (tested on the fireTV and iOS Version). The media on the second share with the TV Shows is not playable. Doesn't matter on which device, I got always an error telling me random messages like "the server is not powerful enough", "the bandwidth is to slow" or more general that "the item is not playable".
Would you please provide some support to this issue? I'll be also happy to provide you with more informations and log files, just tell me which kind of log file.
